Be Mindful

If I could give only one piece of advice to new coffee drinkers, it would be this: be mindful.

Coffee is more than a drink. It doesn't really quench your thirst. It's about giving you a good feeling. It's a craft and an experience. Take a moment to really see what’s in front of you. Look at the colour. Smell the aroma. Then, take a slow first sip and allow the flavours to settle. Is it nutty? Is it chocolaty or floral? Don't rush your cup.

You don’t need to know tasting notes or origins right away. Just start with awareness. The more mindful you are, the more you’ll begin to notice the flavours and appreciate the cup.

My coffee journey begins not with knowledge, but with curiosity. Let your senses guide you. Let each cup teaches you something, about the coffee, and perhaps even about yourself. Maybe one day you'll discover that you enjoy floral beans or otherwise. Who knows?

Because good coffee isn’t just tasted- it’s felt.
